[Event][Tonight] "The Rising" Concert Series Continues at Transit Lounge

So its that time again… “THE RISING” is back at Transit Lounge on Thursday September 9th with an amazing new group of talent! On the decks will be DJ Ashy Knuckles, hosting the night is Saheed; Performing live will be Miami natives Ya Boi Chad (Jam Squad),J NiCS (C9) & Wrekonize (of ¡MAYDAY!). We are also very excited to announce that Philadelphia MC (by way of Atlanta, GA) STS (of “The Legendary Roots Crew” & “Money Making Jam Boys”) will be hitting the stage live with local downtown soul powerhouse Ketchy Shuby! If you are not familiar with STS or his music it’s well worth looking into. Simply put, this guy is GREAT! Once again a show you can not afford to miss so come out and show some love.

Big Boi was the headliner for the night with his band “Wheels of Steel” where he performed songs from his new album “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty” and of course some of his hits. Memoirs was in the building as ¡MAYDAY! and a host of others tore down the house for a free benefit concert at Transit Lounge this past Friday night. Performances included Garcia, J.Nic$ of c9, Saheed, Bizerk of the Stoner Committee, Reks and LMS [they all performed a DOPE cypher] and of coure the headliners ¡MAYDAY! which TORE down the house!  It was truly an awesome time and shout out to Dre Films, Joe of Last Rights, Fresh N3rd, Tsippy and everyone else who was in the building!
