Memoirs was in the building as ¡MAYDAY! and a host of others tore down the house for a free benefit concert at Transit Lounge this past Friday night. Performances included Garcia, J.Nic$ of c9, Saheed, Bizerk of the Stoner Committee, Reks and LMS [they all performed a DOPE cypher] and of coure the headliners ¡MAYDAY! which TORE down the house! It was truly an awesome time and shout out to Dre Films, Joe of Last Rights, Fresh N3rd, Tsippy and everyone else who was in the building!

With his upcoming project “Fway Season” on the way in a couple months C9’s Lil Champ decides to let go one of the early cuts that didn’t make the project just in time before the Summer’s over. Giving you a taste of what being “Fway” and having a “Fway Mindstate” is all about with a sample of what the project will sound like, Champ kicks rhymes about being “Chose” instead of “Choosing” simply stating that he looks good too and not to chase women. — @FreshN3rd

J. NiC$ drops off his new record titled “The Illustration” Produced by Mr. Familiar. This track will be featured on an upcoming project called “The Stimulus Package” coming this September. NiC$ is one of Miami’s newest rising talents and part of a strong Hip-Hop movement which is brewing in South Florida. He blends Vivid storytelling, Hardcore lyricism, with a smooth but commanding southern drawl. —@FreshN3rd

With the recent announcement of Last Rights & c9 teaming up to present “The Rising”, A monthly Hip Hop concert for and by South Florida’s talented underground artists from all over the city starting July 28th, as well as Phresh & NiC$ upcoming concerts next weekend in Orlando & Tampa with Cleveland MC & Slab Ent’s own Chip Tha Ripper on his “Gift Rap’s Tour”, and the recent Online success of Phresh James recent Mixtape “Just Practice” (Currently near 3,000 downloads), The c9 Family (Minus Personal) decided to keep the flow going & let loose this Freestyle over the YoungBloodz “85” flipping the title to the Miami Interstate. Be on the look out sometime next week for a very special J. NiC$ release as the “J. NiC$ For President” 2010 Campaign begins also!

The youngest member of c9 goes in over some classic J. Dilla production. With his upcoming project “Sydney In Theory” (which also will be released with a short film titled “G02DNIGHT:G02BYE” shot by fellow c9 photographer/videographer UnkleLuc) just around the corner & near completion, P. decided to let loose some spare bars out his rhyme book along with a short clip of the film accompanying the album. —Fresh N3RD
